As the Christmas season approaches, the island is starting to be decorated a little everywhere to live up to what is, for me, the best time of year, Christmas. However, what to do until then?
Have you ever thought that with Christmas at the door, what to do until the day comes? Buying gifts? Yes, taking advantage of the discounts that are already appearing, like Black Friday, Cyber Monday .. However, what about photography? Like this? Let's see ..
This year, on a professional level, I will not hold Christmas photo sessions, by choice, also to be able to enjoy a little of my personal time, which is not much, due to my profession in Design.
I chose to do something memorable and remarkable: be on the other side of the camera and let myself be photographed, and for that, and for being my first time in this field, I couldn't be anyone portraying my humble person. Therefore, Paparazis Madeira / A Dream Story was the choice, for some reasons that I will now specify:
I've known Miguel Nóbrega, owner and photographer of Paparazis Madeira, for a good few years (no matter how many);
His professionalism is top notch, one of the best on the market (even better than me, no fears);
The studio, well prepared and decorated in the CHRISTMAS theme, is perfect;
The trust placed in a professional who always takes his work seriously, just like me.
More than enough reasons to choose for what would be my first photo session as a "model" and, nothing better to accompany me than my Rita Silva (@dreamplacesbyrita), who I love to photograph so much. It was also the first time we were photographed in this way as a couple. 😘
Pajamas by hand, non-slip socks, pullover and cap, all at Christmas! Appointment with Miguel and everything ready to be a well spent and hilarious moment, obviously!
I confess that it was the first time I dared to be photographed in a studio, also because I'm never "lucky" to get the photos taken from me right. It's never to my liking, and I confess that I often prefer a selfie, at least it's to my liking.
I wasn't nervous, on the contrary, curious, but I was also confident that something great would come out of the result. And it was better than that, it was brutal. It was a WOW!
It was a set of spectacular moments, with a lot of patience on the part of Miguel Nóbrega, always ready to help, suggest, leaving us at ease in front of his camera.
I'm really satisfied and I'd really like you to have an experience like the one I had with Rita! Yes, you can go with two, or with your child(ren), if applicable, and you also have the possibility of having the real Santa Claus present at the session, it is optional and at a cost of 5 € more, therefore:
6 photos printed 15x20cm without Santa Claus: 15€
6 photos printed 15x20cm with Santa Claus: 20€
Extras:
Photos printed in digital format: +5€
Mug: €10
Extra photos: €1.50 each
Sessions last 15 minutes in the studio, or even as long as 6 good Christmas photos can be produced to be printed. The use of pajamas is recommended, due to the theme that involves a small room by the window, wrapped in gifts and a well-lit pine tree.
It should be noted that the professionals at Papararazis Madeira will be protected with masks and will undergo antigen tests every week, in order to ensure sanitary safety in the studio, also reinforcing hand disinfection by both parties (client and professionals).
The sessions are always subject to prior appointment, in order to guarantee availability of the schedule either from the photographer or from Santa Claus if it is a valid option (recommended from 18:00 to 21:00).
